I had a friend install the unit and he forgot to remove the plug! When the dishwasher which flows through the disposal didn't work properly, I asked him if he had removed the plug. (I've had this experience before.) When he sat down and read the directions he found out I was right.  He removed the plug and everything works great and very quietly. Thanks for a great product!

I've never installed a disposer before, but this one was really easy to work with. It's working great so far (after a few months of use), it's quiet, and most importantly all the headaches I would get with my old unit are gone.

I bought this garbage disposal to replace my old one when it developed a hole in the casing. I was prepared to have to reinstall the entire system including the drain mount but to my surprise the connection fit what I already had so installation was very fast and easy. I'm also happy to report that it is much quieter than my old disposal and with a better price!
